The following is required to complete a successful application
- Complete the Danville Area Community College application if not currently enrolled in college credit courses at DACC. (DACC ID required to complete application)
- Official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended must be on file with DACC Records Office.
- Submit unofficial or copies of all transcripts, including DACC transcripts. You are responsible for obtaining copies of transcripts and submit at the end of this application.
- The following prerequisite courses are the classes you must complete (Grade “C” or better) to be considered for the program IF you do not hold a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- MATH 108 (Intermediate Algebra) OR MATH 111 (College Algebra)
- BIOL 136 (Anatomy and Physiology I)
- BIOL 137 (Anatomy and Physiology II)
- PHYS 141 (Physical Science I)
- Applicants must attend a mandatory Echocardiography Informative Session.

- For this application period, the informative session is online. By signing up using the link, the informative session will be sent to you via email.
- All applicants are required to take the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills), Version 7, within one year of applying.
- Students may attempt the TEAS test up to two times within that year.

- Step-by-step instructions: Please select "TEAS for Nursing School" as your exam search criteria. The exams are the same; however, if "Allied Health School" is selected, the nearest testing location is in Springfield.
- A $50.00 non-refundable application fee must be paid at the Cashier's Office in Vermilion Hall. A copy of the receipt must be included with the application.
